Welcome to Pennine Painting Art Holidays Spring 2008 saw the launch of Pennine Painting a new art holiday venture run by Lionel and Alex Playford. We can now offer you our 2009 programme of courses which start in July. Classes will take place at Rose House Studio in the beautiful North Pennine village of Garrigill with artist and experienced art tutor Lionel Playford. After the success of our first few courses this year we are now looking forward to running a full series of 2, 3 and 4-day drawing and painting courses from July to November 2009. Subjects covered will include landscape, still life or indeed any area which students request in sufficient numbers. We hope, like us, you will be inspired by the wide-open spaces of the North Pennine moors, the quiet country lanes and the wooded pathways following streams, waterfalls and rivers.
