Welcome to Pennine Painting Art Courses Now in our fifth year Pennine Painting is an art holiday venture run by Lionel and Alex Playford. We can now offer you our 2012 programme of courses. Classes take place at Rose House Studio in the beautiful North Pennine village of Garrigill with artist and experienced art tutor Lionel Playford. This year we have our largest programme to date with a selection of 3 and 4-day drawing and painting courses, running from April to October 2012. Subjects covered will include landscape, abstracting from the landscape, environmental art and studio painting. We hope, like us, you will be inspired by the wide-open spaces of the North Pennine moors, the quiet country lanes and the wooded pathways following streams, waterfalls and rivers.
